Chief Indexing Officer and Head of Governance Services @ Morningstar
Gareth is Chief Indexing Officer at Morningstar. At Morningstar he works with clients to ensure they have access to the best possible indices or custom indices for their purposes. He also looks after the company’s index governance, its index governance business and its governance responsibilities to clients. Gareth serves as Chair of various internal and external index oversight and index management committees, including for Morningstar, Airbus and TP ICAP.
Prior to joining Morningstar he co-founded the index calculation & governance services company Moorgate Benchmarks, which was acquired by Morningstar in September 2021.
