Cory Albert serves as the Global Head of Cloud Strategy in Bloomberg’s Enterprise Data division. The Enterprise Data product suite provides Bloomberg customers with the highest quality reference, valuation, regulatory, accounting, and pricing data distributed, ready to use, via lightweight deployment agnostic technology. Cory’s responsibilities focus on finding and developing new ways for customers to better leverage these datasets within the public cloud.
Hired in 2002, Cory has held numerous positions at Bloomberg across disciplines such as software engineering, product management, business development, and strategic partnerships. Prior to joining Bloomberg LP, Cory worked at the Securities Industry Automation Corporation concentrating on system refactoring for missionary critical NYSE products.
Cory holds a B.S. in Industrial and Management Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a M.S. in Software Engineering from Southern Methodist University.
