Dr. Alexandra Hachmeister is Director General at the Deutsche Bundesbank since January 2022. She is responsible for the Bundesbank’s activities in economic education, internal education and training, the University of Applied Sciences of the Deutsche Bundesbank as well as the Bundesbank’s International Central Bank Dialogue. Before joining the Bundesbank, she held various positions at Deutsche Börse AG, last as Managing Director for Market Data & Services. Ms Hachmeister studied business administration in Germany, France and the US, and holds a Ph.D. in market microstructure from European Business School.
