Drew is founder and CEO of TradeX, a software platform that leverages security encryption and an immutable ledger to trace data usage. Drew is a career security professional with 25 years of experience, having most recently served as a Chief Security Officer for SpaceX, Honeywell, and CME Group. Drew was the founding CSO at SpaceX, providing security solutions for all elements of the design, manufacturing, and launch of advanced rockets and spacecraft. Drew recently left Honeywell to launch TradeX, leveraging his prior experience with blockchain and encryption to provide the market data community a secure and alternative distribution channel without holding data. By providing an understanding of usage, TradeX can achieve outcomes like removing audit clauses in data licensing agreements, eliminating the compliance burden, and ensuring both sides only pay for the data they need.
Prior to his time in the private sector, Drew worked for the U.S. Government. He was the Risk and Resilience Section Chief at Argonne National Laboratory providing security analysis on infrastructure protection, threat analyses, and cyber security warfare.
